Creationism and Religon

Welcome graphic

Evolution is known as the "Unifying Theory of Biology", yet it is probably the most controversial theory. Some people oppose evolution because of religous beliefs, and some even believe strongly that the theory should not be taught in schools at all. The debate has been going on for several years. Most biologists feel that you can't teach about animals and biology without using the Therory of Evolution to explain why things are the ways they are.

Evolution

Many people think they were evoled from apes, but I dont really know where or how we got here i just know we are here and just wait intill they can prove how we really got here then maybe I will belive.

Scientist's say that

"In the broadest sense, evolution is merely change, and so is all-pervasive; galaxies, languages, and political systems all evolve. Biological evolution ... is change in the properties of populations of organisms that transcend the lifetime of a single individual. The ontogeny of an individual is not considered evolution; individual organisms do not evolve. The changes in populations that are considered evolutionary are those that are inheritable via the genetic material from one generation to the next. "creationism" refers to a wide range of beliefs. This article gives a brief introduction to creationist positions. It tries to cover the breadth of creationist beliefs (and a little of the variety of evolutionist belief), but it gives little depth. In addition to the positions, it lists some influential people, organizations, books, and periodicals which espouse the positions. Interested readers may look up these references. Also, a section near the end gives suggestions for further reading.
